The collection of information is an important element within the information systems, therefore, DANE, as the national entity in charge of collecting statistical information, allows, through the application, to collect and store information from various studies or statistical investigations; which allows:• Georeference a site in the DMC using the GPS receiver, which to the extent that the precision is greater (less than 10 meters) will allow the location of the block to be recorded in which the count will be made.• Georeference the buildings on digital cartography and their adequate identification through the standardized address, according to the order of travel in order to have the spatial distribution, which allows the directory of buildings to be updated in the geographic identification variables for the other statistical operations carried out by the entity.
